Get Organized Cricut Crawl

First off let me start by apologizing for not getting this up on time. This is my first Cricut Crawl as a design team member and I got a bit confused. I love all the comments that were left for my address book (thank you!) but this is actually my get organized project!!

I usually host an annual swap with some of my online friends and fellow DT members over at ST. And this year was no exception. We each make up our months layouts and then they send them to me and I add a calendar grid and bind them all. This year I made 5 of the months using the help of my Cricut. So let's check them out below!!

I used Designer's Calendar for the name of my Month. And various papers and supplies I had on hand.

Here I used Nate's ABC for the month and George to cut my stars.

September I used Locker Talk for my cute scissors and pencil!!

For October I used Designer's Claendar again. Sorry but my friend cut out the spider and web from her Revolution for me.

And lastly November uses Designer's Calendar and Pooh and Friends for the leaves.

And here is a finished Calendar page!! Thanks so much for checking out my project!!

We'd love to have you join us in our get organized challenge this week, I'm so glad you stopped in today!! Now enough of my project, here's some more info on the hop!!!

Here's how the Crawl will work:
1. The crawl will begin at FCCB. Participants will visit each Design Team member's blog to view their FANTABULOUS projects. Participants may follow the provided links at each blog. If you get lost along the way, you can always return to FCCB to follow the links to our Design Team members’ blogs.

2. There will be prizes along the way at some of the Design Team blogs, so be sure to check out the goodies up for grabs! *You must meet the Design Team members' stated criteria to be eligible for the individual prizes. Please see each DT member's blog for details and directions.*

3. There will also be one GRAND PRIZE at FCCB!! That prize will be awarded to a participant that meets the challenge criteria and posts a link to their project on the FCCB Blog, drawn randomly by Random.org. Just like every other Challenge Me Monday.

Here's the Line Up:

Holiday Gifts

This year money has been really tight for my family so many of my gifts have been handmade by me. I have been busy creating things for the special people in my life for the past 3 weeks! And I can finally share them with you!

Most of the gals in the family are getting journals.

I used StorytellersClub kits to create these for each of their personalities. I hope they love them!

My parents are all getting Calendars (which will be a future post) and the guys are getting bags of their favorite candy (which will come in a future post as well). But our Mimi (Grandma) well I made her something extra special to put on her fridge.

I found this magnet frame a while ago at the 99cent store and turned it into this! Cool huh?

Well that is it for me tonight. Please come back to see the other gifts I have been busy creating. The Calendar is one you won't wanna miss!!

Jingle Bells

Here is page one. I couldn't help but use this fun Winter StorytellersClub Kit and papers to create this layout. Added to it are some snowflakes with brads.

And here is my page 2. I love my snowman! Can you believe he is 10" tall? You can make him smaller if you wish but I really wanted him to stand out!

Home Sweet Home

Hello dear Scrappy, Crafty, and Bloggy friends!!
Boy I have missed you so much!

I just wanted to update you all on my shattered femur.

I went to the hospital as planned for my surgery on November 7th.
Seemed like everything would be great, however during the harvesting of the bone graft, on my right hip, my blood pressure dropped and I was having troubles breathing so the surgery was stopped and I was brought back and stabilized.
I was admitted immediately and found out that I had fluid in my lungs.

One week of antibiotics and plenty of pain meds, they continued the surgery. This time they were able to go in and complete the bone grafting, using cadaver bone cells and bone marrow. I spent another week in the hospital recovering and after learning how to walk with the walker I was released to go home. I can not wait until I can walk, without help, again!

I am now home with my awesome family, sleeping in my own bed, and eating my hubby's cooked meals and couldn't ask for a better Thanksgiving gift!

I hope to be back in action soon. So please drop me a line and check back soon. When I am feeling a bit better I will be back to my my crafting!!! YAY!

Thanks so much for all your well wishes and prayers. I am very Thankful to have you all in my life!

NASCAR...Ready...Set..GO!

Hello scrappy friends, Connie with Connie Can Crop here to share my lastest Creative Kuts Masterpiece Layout entitled "NASCAR" That's right Race Car Fans, this one is for you!!!

I actually am still sitting in my hospital room waiting for this surgery to be done! So I am sorry there is no fun staging going on here. I have a friend, Kathy, that is the biggest NASCAR fan I know and when I saw this page design from Creative Kutz I knew I needed to create this for her.

This file also comes with CK's very own Pink Teddy Bear, FEEBIE. But I decided to create this layout without the bear. I wanted to open it up to more possibilities for layouts. Do you notice my checkered flags? Well, I did not have any checkered paper but I do have checkered Duct tape for my wallets. So I figured why not try it. I cut a few strips of duct tape and cut the shape out very easily. And I think it looks cool too!!

This layout is available in my ebay store. Please feel free to come check it out along with all of my other layouts and projects.

Items used to Create this layout:

Creative Imaginations patterned paper
bazzill and cardstock
Pop Dots
Red Rick Rack
Tim Holtz Distressing Inks
I hope that you have enjoyed my project as much as I enjoyed sharing it with you. I love receiving comments and new followers. It means so much to me! So please feel free to drop me a note and follow my blog for more inspiration, giveaways, and tips.
